Welcome to The Beachfront Scoop, where family, community and a love for bringing people together are at the heart of everything we do.

After more than 25 years of teaching fifth graders in Pawtucket, I, Kate, traded in my classroom for an ice cream scoop and began a new adventure with my husband Sean, our kids and their friends.  Together with our amazing staff, friends, locals, and customers, we have created what we proudly call our Beachfront Family.

Located across from the beautiful Scarborough Beach in Narragansett, Rhode Island, The Beachfront Scoop is more than an ice cream shop, deli, and made to order grilled foods. It is a place where friends and families can gather, make memories, enjoy delicious foods and treats, and always feel welcome.

One of the things we are most proud of is giving young people their first opportunity to work. From starting their first job to college students preparing for their futures, we teach responsibility, teamwork, customer service, and the importance of a strong work ethic.  Just like in the classroom, we believe young people grow when someone gives them guidance, encouragement, and the opportunity to succeed.

 

 

Our goal is to make The Beachfront Scoop a place our community can enjoy all year long. During the warmer months, stop by after a day at the beach for your favorite ice cream, milkshake, sweet treat or a bite to eat.  When the Rhode Island weather turns colder, we bring something special to the shore with our unique warm, blissful milkshakes infused with hot chocolate and your favorite flavors.

Whether you're a local, visiting Narragansett for the summer, college students, or simply passing by, we hope you come in as a customer and leave feeling like a part of the family.
